PART I — PRIVACY POLICY

Privacy, Ethics, and Protection of Personal Information

Beyond meeting all legal requirements, RSI Recruitment Inc. (“RSI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to observing the highest standards of professional ethics. Protecting personal information and maintaining confidentiality are fundamental to the success of our business and to the trust placed in us by candidates, clients, and professional contacts.

RSI Recruitment Inc. is a professional recruitment and executive search firm operating on a direct-engagement model. RSI acts solely as an intermediary between hiring organizations and prospective candidates.

RSI does not:

  • Advertise or promote “work from home” or remote income opportunities to the general public
  • Offer or participate in multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, referral-based recruitment, or commission-based marketing programs
  • Collect personal information for resale, referral, affiliate marketing, or third-party lead-generation purposes

All recruitment activity is conducted on behalf of identified hiring organizations or confidential executive searches, and all communications are employment-related, individualized, and professional in nature.

We regularly review our policies, systems, and business practices to ensure compliance with applicable privacy legislation and to continuously strengthen our safeguards for personal information.

RSI Recruitment Inc. has reviewed its systems and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable privacy laws, including Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Collection of Personal Information

We collect personal information only when it is voluntarily provided by the individual to whom it pertains, or where otherwise permitted by applicable law.

Personal information may include:

  • Information contained in résumés, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, portfolios, and other recruitment-related materials
  • Contact information such as name, email address, phone number, and professional location
  • Employment history, education, qualifications, skills, and career preferences
  • Information required to deliver recruitment, career advisory, networking, or placement services requested by the individual

We do not knowingly collect personal information that is unnecessary for legitimate recruitment or employment-related purposes.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, personal information is processed on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • The individual’s explicit consent
  • Legitimate interests related to recruitment, employment placement, and professional networking, provided such interests do not override the individual’s rights
  • Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations

Consent may be withdrawn at any time, subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions.

Use of Personal Information

Personal information is used solely for identified and legitimate purposes, including:

  • Informing individuals of specific employment opportunities with identified hiring organizations, or confidential searches where the employer is disclosed prior to interview stages
  • Assessing qualifications and suitability for roles
  • Coordinating interviews and recruitment processes
  • Communicating updates related to candidacy
  • Engaging in professional networking directly related to employment

RSI does not use personal information for unrelated advertising, mass marketing, promotional campaigns, work-from-home solicitations, income opportunity programs, or non-employment commercial offerings.

SMS and Phone Communications

Consent to Receive SMS Messages

RSI Recruitment Inc. sends SMS messages only to individuals who have provided prior express consent to receive such communications.

Consent may be obtained through:

  • Direct verbal or written opt-in during phone, email, or messaging communication
  • Submission of contact information where the individual explicitly agrees to SMS communication
  • An established professional relationship where the individual has explicitly agreed, verbally or in writing, to receive SMS communications related to recruitment activities.

RSI does not use purchased lists, scraped data, random number generation, or unsolicited bulk messaging.

Purpose and Frequency of Messages

SMS communications are limited to:

  • Recruitment outreach for potential roles
  • Status updates regarding candidacy
  • Interview coordination and time-sensitive recruitment matters

All SMS communications are one-to-one, conversational, and relationship-based. Messages are not advertisements, broadcast campaigns, or general job alerts.

RSI does not send SMS messages related to:

  • Work-from-home programs
  • Remote income opportunities
  • Referral incentives
  • Third-party services or promotions

Message frequency varies based on recruitment activity and is not excessive.

Opt-Out and Revocation of Consent

Individuals may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message.

  • Opt-out requests are processed promptly
  • Once opted out, no further SMS messages will be sent unless new express consent is provided
  • Consent may also be withdrawn by contacting RSI directly

No Sale or Sharing of SMS Data

RSI does not sell, rent, share, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, or message content to third parties for marketing, affiliate, or lead-generation purposes.

SMS data is used strictly for recruitment and operational communications.

Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

RSI does not engage in third-party affiliate marketing, data brokerage, or lead generation.

Information may be disclosed only:

  • To clients or hiring organizations, with the individual’s explicit authorization and solely for recruitment purposes
  • To service providers (e.g., ATS, communication platforms, IT providers) under contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations
  • For legal or regulatory compliance, where required by law

PART II — TERMS OF SERVICE

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing RSI Recruitment Inc.’s website, services, communications, or by engaging with RSI Recruitment Inc. (“RSI”) in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue use of our services.

Scope of Services

RSI Recruitment Inc. provides retained and contingent recruitment, executive search, and talent advisory services exclusively to companies and other professional organizations.

RSI acts solely as an intermediary between hiring organizations and prospective candidates and does not operate as:

  • A job board or employment marketplace
  • A work-from-home or remote income program
  • A referral-based or multi-level recruitment model
  • A lead-generation or affiliate marketing service

RSI does not guarantee job placement, employment offers, interview outcomes, or hiring decisions. All employment decisions remain solely with hiring organizations.

Professional Use and Accuracy of Information

You agree that:

  • Information you provide to RSI is accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge
  • RSI may rely on information provided without independent verification
  • You are responsible for updating your information as necessary

RSI is not responsible for decisions made by third parties based on information provided by you.

Communication Consent

By providing your contact information, you consent to be contacted by RSI Recruitment Inc. via:

  • Email
  • Phone calls
  • SMS (text) messages
  • Social media (e.g., LinkedIn)
  • Regular mail

Communications are individualized, relationship-based, and limited to recruitment-related and operational purposes only. Communications are not advertisements, mass marketing campaigns, or solicitations for third-party services.

You may withdraw consent at any time in accordance with these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

SMS Terms and Conditions

SMS Consent Communication

The phone numbers and consent information collected as part of the SMS opt-in process are used solely by RSI Recruitment Inc. and will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for marketing, affiliate, or lead-generation purposes.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of any employment opportunity or service.

Types of SMS Communications

If you have consented to receive SMS messages from RSI Recruitment Inc., you may receive text messages related to the following:

  • Recruitment outreach regarding specific job opportunities with identified hiring organizations, or confidential searches where the employer is disclosed prior to interview stages
  • Status updates related to your candidacy
  • Interview scheduling or coordination
  • Time-sensitive recruitment communications

RSI Recruitment Inc. does not use SMS messaging to advertise general job listings, work-from-home opportunities, income programs, referral incentives, or third-party services.

Example message:
“Hi [First Name], it’s Nicolas from RSI Recruitment Inc. I wanted to follow up regarding the role we discussed. Let me know if you’re available to chat. Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance. Message & data rates may apply.”

Messages are conversational, one-to-one, and tied to an existing professional relationship or prior express consent. Messages are not promotional or marketing campaigns.

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary depending on recruitment activity and your level of engagement.

For example, you may receive up to five (5) SMS messages per week during an active recruitment process. Message frequency is not excessive and is limited to legitimate recruitment needs.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and pricing plan. These fees may vary for domestic or international messages. RSI Recruitment Inc. is not responsible for carrier charges incurred by recipients.

Opt-In Method

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from RSI Recruitment Inc. through:

  • Verbal consent, obtained directly during a phone conversation, where we clearly ask:

“Do you agree to receive conversational text messages from RSI Recruitment Inc. regarding recruitment opportunities or updates? You may reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for support. Consent is documented and retained in accordance with applicable regulations and is never obtained through third-party referrals, affiliate programs, or lead-generation forms.

Opt-Out Method

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive.

Alternatively, you may contact RSI Recruitment Inc. directly to request removal from SMS communications. Opt-out requests are processed promptly and honored immediately.

No Affiliate Marketing or Lead Generation

RSI Recruitment Inc. does not participate in affiliate marketing, referral networks, or third-party lead generation.

RSI does not collect personal information for the purpose of:

  • Selling or reselling leads
  • Distributing candidate data to multiple unrelated entities
  • Referring individuals to external services in exchange for compensation

All personal information is collected and used exclusively for direct recruitment and hiring activities.

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, text, and branding associated with RSI Recruitment Inc. are the property of RSI and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RSI Recruitment Inc. shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of employment opportunities
  • Decisions made by employers or third parties
  • System outages, carrier failures, or communication delays

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Termination

RSI Recruitment Inc. reserves the right to suspend or terminate communications or services at any time where continued engagement is no longer appropriate, lawful, or operationally necessary.
